About Us
The Beachwood One Hundred is a group of caring citizens whose annual tax deductible dues are used solely to create a contingency fund to aid the police and fire safety forces of the City of Beachwood in time of personal emergencies. The organization is run 100% by volunteer citizens. Officers and members serve without pay, and no member asks for any "special favors" for the time, efforts and funds they devote to The Beachwood One Hundred. The organization was incorporated not for profit in 1969 by a group of public spirited citizens.
The Beachwood One Hundred officers and directors may or may not include public officials of the city and is totally independent of any control by elected officials. It is not in any way related to the Fraternal Order of Police or any other organization.
The Beachwood One Hundred recognizes and appreciated the dedication of those forces that serve to protect the citizens of Beachwood. When unforeseen personal emergencies occur, the Beachwood One Hundred is ready to assist the city’s safety forces and their families with loans or donations.
Those who join and support The Beachwood One Hundred receive a tax deduction for their dues. They also have the satisfaction of helping our Public Safety Departments to perform their difficult jobs, knowing that those they serve stand to help them and their families in emergencies.
